Courtyard meeting: At the courtyard meeting held on the date 5 April 2023 in Sanura union under Dhamrai Upazila, Ms. Nurjahan Begum (House wife) said the government is providing free legal aid to the poor people of the village. So, through today's courtyard meeting, we learned about legal services. We will tell our neighbors Legal Aid Helpline-16430 number and about the government's free legal aid.
UPLAC Bi-monthly meeting: At the UPLAC Bi-monthly meeting held on the date 4 April 2023 Ms, Sharmin Islam Shimu Member secretary, Jadabpur Union Parishad, Dhamrai Upazila saidthe government is providing legal services for the poor at government expense but Publicity campaign should be increased People do not know Legal Aid Office so they are deprived of legal facilities through Union Parishad. If government support is available, we can provide a place for legal aid services in the Union Parishad where an officer can assist them with legal aid.
Mikimg awareness campaign: At the miking held on the date 1 April 2023 that the miking's promotion of legal aid was much needed in our area, many people in our area do not know that the government is providing free legal aid support to the poor disadvantaged people. Miking is happening in rural areas about legal aid issues. Ordinary people are listening to miking so they are getting an idea about legal aid. People will get more idea about Legal Aid especially after the distribution of Legal Aid Sticker, Leaflet and Poster especially in Bazar, School, Mosque and Temple area said Md.
